Connecting an external power supply

General

The Fronius String Control 250/30 DCD DF is powered via the Fronius Solar Net.
The power supplied via the Fronius Solar Net may not be sufficient if additional Fronius
DATCOM components are present or if the data communication cables are more than 100
m long.

In this case, power is supplied in the following ways:
-

via a DIN rail power pack that be optionally integrated in the Fronius String Control
250/30 DCD DF

-

via one of the other Fronius DATCOM components in SolarNet

-

via an external power pack

Fronius recommends supplying power externally via the optional DIN rail power pack or
one of the other Fronius DATCOM components in SolarNet, if possible.

If there is no simpler connection, the following work instruction describes how to connect
the external power pack to the Fronius String Control 250/30 DCD DF.
