General Information
The Models 12505-005, 12505-005OR and 12505-005YL are for use with engineered plastic
weatherproof enclosures and can be used with all other GAI-Tronics weatherproof products. This kit
includes the following components:

Installation
1. To remove the hinge pins, compress the slotted end of each pin with needle-nose pliers and drive the
pin upward.
2. Remove the door assembly from the enclosure.
3. Check the fit and clearance of the replacement door assembly by placing the door assembly in
position on the enclosure hinge bosses. File the material from the door bosses for more clearance, if
necessary.
4. Position the door assembly onto the enclosure with the hinge pin holes in alignment. Compress the
slotted end of each pin with needle-nose pliers and drive the pins downward through the holes in the
enclosure and hinge ears until completely inserted. See Figure 1.
