General Information
The Model 12506-003 Replacement Parts Kit replaces the 13301-002 Speaker in a GAI-Tronics Mine
Phone. This kit includes the following components:

1 Machine Screw, #28018-824, #8-32
× ¾-inch
4 Thread-cutting Screws, #28209-824, 5/8-inch long
Installation
1. Refer to the diagrams on page 2. Disconnect the Mine Phone from service. Disconnect the speaker
leads.
2. Remove the pop rivets holding the speaker using a drill or a punch.
CAUTION
Open the Mine Phone door to prevent damaging the electronics while drilling or punching.
3. Remove the existing speaker and gasket.
4. Orient the new speaker as illustrated on page 2 to ensure clearance of electronics inside the enclosure.
Install gasket, new speaker, and front grille. Secure with thread-cutting screws on the top and sides,
and with the machine screw on the bottom.
