Repair and correction possibilities with
ProBase Cold
– Corrections and repairs of ProBase Hot, ProBase Cold
and SR Ivocap ® may be carried out with ProBase Cold by
using the pouring technique. Thoroughly roughen the
corresponding surfaces and wet with monomer.
– The residual monomer content after polymerizing the
material according to the method described is < 4,5%.
Warnings
– The monomer contains methyl methacrylate (MMA).
– Methyl methacrylate is easily flammable and irritating
(flash point +10 °C / 50 °F).
– Irritating to eyes, skin, and respiratory system.
– May cause sensitization by skin contact.
– Avoid contact of the skin with monomer or uncured
material. Commercial medical gloves do not provide
protection against the sensitizing effect of methacrylates.
– Do not breathe vapour.
– Keep away from sources of ignition – no smoking.
– Do not empty into drains.
– Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Storage
– Store material in a cool, dark, well-ventilated place. Stor-
age temperature: 2–28 °C (36–82 °F).
– Do not use the materials after the indicated date of
expiration.
– Keep out of the reach of children.

Das kalthärtende ProBase
® Cold weist hervorragende Fliess-
und Modelliereigenschaften auf. Es lässt sich mit der Giess-
oder Stopftechnik einfach und sicher verarbeiten, auch bei
zwei oder mehreren Sätteln. Es stehen verschiedene Farben
zur Verfügung. Die freie Dosierung von Pulver und Flüssig-
keit im üblichen Rahmen erlaubt dem Anwender eine indivi-
duelle Bestimmung von Konsistenz und Verarbeitungsbreite.
Zusammensetzung
Pulver:
Polymethylmethacrylat, Weichmacher, Benzoylperoxid,
Katalysator, Pigmente
Flüssigkeit:
Methylmethacrylat, Dimethacrylat, Katalysator

Kontraindikation
– Direkten Kontakt von unpolymerisiertem Material im
intraoralen Bereich.
– Bei erwiesener Allergie auf Bestandteile von ProBase
Cold
Nebenwirkungen
In Einzelfällen wurden bei Polymethylmethacrylat-
Materialien lokale allergische Reaktionen beschrieben.
Verarbeitung
Giesstechnik
Vorbereiten
Ausgebrühte, gut gewässerte Gipsflächen zweimal mit
Ivoclar Vivadent Separating Fluid isolieren. Gut trocknen
lassen. Zähne gut anrauhen, mit mechanischen Retentionen
versehen und mit Monomer benetzen, um den Verbund zur
Prothesenbasis zu sichern.
Dosierung
– Ideales Mischungsverhältnis:
15 g Pulver : 10 ml Monomer
Anmischen
Pulver und Flüssigkeit mit dem Spatel anrühren und sehr
gut durchmischen. 15 Sek. stehen lassen, damit allfällige
Blasen entweichen.
Fliessphase
Sie dauert bei Raumtemperatur (23 °C) 2,5–3 Min. Das
Material innerhalb dieser Zeit in den Sattel eingiessen.
