Application
A: Direct restorations – light-curing materials
1. A dry operating field must be ensured. Ideally, a rubber

dam should be used.

2. Apply an adequate amount of AdheSE Primer with a

brush. All the cavity surfaces, beginning at the enamel,
should be adequately wetted. If necessary, fresh primer
should be applied. Once the cavity surfaces have been
completely coated, the primer must be brushed into the
entire surface for another 15 s. The total reaction time
should not be shorter than 30 s.

3. Disperse excess AdheSE Primer with a strong stream of

air until the mobile liquid film is no longer visible.

4. Apply AdheSE Bond, beginning at the dentin.
5. Disperse AdheSE Bond with a very weak stream of air.

Avoid pooling! Care should be taken not to blow away
the bonding agent. All the prepared surfaces must be
adequately coated with AdheSE Bond.
Note: AdheSE Bond does not contain a solvent that has
to be evaporated!

6. Polymerize AdheSE Bond for 10 s using a light intensity

of more than 500 mW/cm

.

If other lights are used, the recommendations of the
manufacturer of the device used must be followed to
obtain fully polymerized results. The light-curing time
depends on the intensity and the wavelength range of
the light emitted by the different curing units.
Note: Light-curing times of less than 5 s are not
recommended.

7. The restorative material must be applied according to

the instructions of the manufacturer.

Warning
AdheSE is irritating. Avoid contact of the material with the
skin, mucous membrane and eyes. If the product comes in
contact with the skin, wash it off with plenty of water. In
case of accidental contact with the eyes, wash immediately
with plenty of water and seek medical attention.
Commercial medical gloves do not protect against
sensitivity towards methacrylate.
