Application

1. Try-in of composite and ceramic restorations
– Application of Liquid Strip on cavity or restoration
– Try-in, evaluation of shade and fit
– Removal of the restoration from the cavity
– Rinsing off Liquid Strip with water and drying with

blower

– Cleansing the restoration with 37 % phosphoric acid

(e.g. Total Etch)

– Thoroughly rinsing off phosphoric acid and drying with

blower

– Further procedure according to information of the luting

composite manufacturer

2. Prevention of oxygen inhibiton with composites
a) Inlay/Onlay luting
– Placement of ceramic or composite restoration with a

luting composite (e.g. Variolink II)

– Removal of excess composite
– Application of Liquid Strip on restoration margins
– Light-curing of the luting composite through Liquid Strip
– Rinsing off Liquid Strip with water
– Finishing/polishing of the restoration

b) Freely built-up composite restorations
– Build-up of restoration
– Covering restoration surface with Liquid Strip
– Light-curing of the composite through Liquid Strip
– Rinsing off Liquid Strip with water
– Finishing/polishing of the restoration

Note
With self-curing composites, glycerine gel has to be left on
restoration until end of setting time.

Important
If a low-viscosity luting composite is used, Liquid Strip has
to be applied carefully, to avoid mixing with, or extruding
of, the composite.

Storage
– Do not use Liquid Strip after expiration date
– Storage conditions: room temperature (2–28 °C /

54–82 °F)

– Shelf life: see expiration date
