(6) Starting to Record

Set the presettings according to the purpose.
(Refer to Page 13.)
NOTE:
Steps 1 and 2 can also be performed in the reverse

order.

Set the recording pause mode.
Press the REC button.

Load the cartridge.

Flashing (orange)

For a disc on which 3 tracks
are already recorded.

The disc’s total number of tracks and playing time are
displayed.

NOTE: If the REC button is pressed in the stop mode, the

recording monitor mode is set. (Only the REC
button lights.)

NOTE: If the DIGITAL IN indicator is flashing, the digital

signal is unlocked. If this is the case, recording is
not possible.

Recording starts and the

indicator lights.

Start recording.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

To change the track number during recording:
Press the REC button.

To pause recording:
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.

Use one of the following methods to stop recording.

The

indicator flashes while the UTOC is being

written.

Recording stops and the recording pause mode is set.
To resume recording, press the PLAY/PAUSE button
again. The track number is incremented and recording
resumes.

Lit (green)

The track number is incremented and
recording continues.

Lit

Flashing (orange)

(7) Stopping Recording

Recording stops, the UTOC is written
and the standby mode is set.
