Auto-Size Label:

0

Clears the use of auto-size values set by ^A1^D39.

1

Uses the values obtained for the variables above instead of what the user
supplies in the header of the file format. This will not display the variables on the
screen.

2

Automatically sizes a label and sends the values obtained to the serial
communications port. The returned values may then be used to construct a
correct label header.

3

Same as ^A2^D39, but the values are printed on the label being checked
instead.

(Note: The LCB should be set to 1 before auto-sizing black line stock.
^A1^D47?)

91

Gap Threshold Value: This value can be obtained and set using the auto-size
(^D39) command. It must be properly set in order for the printer to determine
when a gap or other sense mark is present. When used with the standard
transmissive sensor which measures the amount of light which passes through
the media, this value represents a point between 0 (no light passing through)
and 240+ (all light passing through) where the printer will assume that a valid
gap has occurred. The ^D91 command should be placed at the beginning of
every label definition file when multiple label types are used. Placing the
command in every file will prevent skipping or other registration errors that may
occur when using media which has different opacity values. This command is
stored in non-volatile memory and is therefore loaded whenever the printer is
powered on. The factory default value is 92.
