ETAILS

The following paragraphs describe in detail what each workflow does. Within all server workflows files and tracks
are tagged with a “flavor” or “type” which identifies source, intermediate or final copies of a video or audio file or
media track. Thus the notation

*/source

is simply a symbolic way to tag a file or track as a source file which should be treated in certain ways. Likewise, a
tag like

*/split

is just a notation that identifies a file which has gone through a procedure splitting a file into two pieces using
some processing algorithm. These flavors or tags in the workflows are convenient (and arbitrary) names which
help identify what state a file or track is in.
