MP3/WMA files
This unit can play MP3 and WMA files that are on CD-R/
CD-RW discs, SD cards, and external USB flash drives*. See
the manual for the software that you are using when you
create an MP3 or WMA file using a PC.
* The USB port on this unit only supports USB flash drives
(also known as “thumb drives” and “jump drives”). It does
not support standard USB hard drives.
p
For file names and ID3 tag information, the display of

acters. If the file information uses Japanese, Chinese or

recognizes MP3 files by their “.mp3” file extensions or
WMA files by their “.wma” file extensions.
p
Files without extensions cannot be played. Files that are
not in the MP3 or WMA format cannot be played even if
they have “.mp3” or “.wma” file extensions.
