To listen to an external source connected to an 
AUX IN jack, select the corresponding “AUX 1 IN” or 
“AUX 2 IN” setting.

If the source is set to USB when an iPod/iPhone/
iPad is connected to the USB port, “USB” will appear 
on the display until the unit recognizes the iPod/
iPhone/iPad, then “iPod” will appear on the display. 
p
You can also select a source you want to listen to 
by pressing the corresponding source button on 
the remote control (AUX1, AUX2, TUNER, CD, iPod/
USB, SD or Bluetooth).

Play the source, and gradually turn the vol-
ume up to the desired level by turning the 
VOLUME knob.
Automatic standby
In order to reduce power consumption, if there is no play-
back signal from the selected input source and this unit is 
not operated for 30 minutes, this unit will enter standby 
mode.
The unit will not enter standby mode automatically, 
however, if any of the following input sources are selected.
• TUNER FM
• TUNER AM
• Bluetooth (when connected to another Bluetooth device)

Even if Bluetooth is selected as the input source, if no 
other Bluetooth device is connected to the unit (paired), 
the unit will automatically enter standby mode if it is not 
operated for 30 minutes.
