Front panel features

A WARM-UP switch

Use this switch to turn on/off the WARM-UP mode.
When the WARM-UP mode is on, the power amplifier circuits is
warmed up in low power consumption and the power of the
unit speedily becomes stable.

The WARM-UP mode is effective only when the unit is turned on.
The ring around the POWER switch lights in green when you
turn on the WARM-UP mode.
No sound comes out while warming up the unit.

Pressing the WARM-UP switch while warming up the unit turns
off the WARM-UP mode. The ring around the POWER switch will
flash in blue for a few seconds. No sound comes out while it is
flashing. When the flashing stops, the power is turned on and
sound will start to come out.

For enjoying better sound
It is recommended to use the WARM-UP mode for more than
30 minutes before playing back music. Using WARM-UP mode
assists stable drive of internal circuits and brings out the
performance of this unit fully.

B POWER

Use this switch to turn the unit on and off.
The ring around the switch flashes in blue and no sound comes
out for a few seconds after turning on the power. Wait until the
flashing stops.

< When the protection circuit is in operation, the ring around the

POWER switch flashes in blue and no sound comes out.

< Follow the steps below when you turns on the audio system

including this unit to protect the speakers.

1 Turn the volume of the preamplifier to the minimum.
2 Turn on the sound source components.
3 Turn on the preamplifier.
4 Turn on this unit.

Follow the steps below when you turns off the system.
1 Turn the volume of the preamplifier to the minimum.
2 Turns off this unit.
3 Turns off the preamplifier.
4 Turns off the sound source components.

< Because the unit is equipped with a high capacity transformer

and capacitor, sound may occur from the power transformer
when you turn on the unit. This is normal.

< Once the unit is turned off, wait for at least 2 seconds to turn it

again.
