Rear panel features

A

AC inlet

Use the supplied Esoteric power cord. Use of other power cords
may result in fire or electric shock. Unplug the power cord when
you are not going to use the unit for an extended period of time.

INPUT SELECTOR switch

Use this switch to change the input between RCA and XLR.
Do NOT change the input while the power of this unit is on.

OUTPUT MODE switch

Choose “STEREO” when you use this unit as a stereo power
amplifier.
Choose “BTL” when you use this unit as a monaural power
amplifier.
You cannot connect the speakers for the both mode at the same
time.

SPEAKER terminals

Connect the – terminal of the unit to the – terminal of the
speaker and the + terminal of the unit to the + terminal of the
speaker using speaker cords.

< When you choose “BTL” as the output mode, connect the BTL +

terminal to the + terminal of the speaker and the BTL – terminal
to the – terminal of the speaker.

< Connect 4Ω or higher impedance speakers.

< The metal portions of the two separate wires (Positive and

negative), should not touch each other or an electrical short can
occur.
Shorted wires can create a fire hazard or induce a failure in your
equipment.

< Do not connect two or more amplifiers to one speaker.

RCA input terminals

Connect the terminals to the output terminals on a preamplifier
using RCA audio cables.
Slide the INPUT SELECTOR switch on the rear panel to “RCA”
when you use the terminals.

< Be sure to insert each plug securely. To prevent hum and noise,

avoid bundling the signal interconnection cables together with
the AC power cord or speaker cables.
