Rear Panel

The NetPath 2000 rear panel is shown in Figure 1.4.

The NetPath 2000 rear panel has three interfaces described in detail below.

NetPath 2000 Interfaces

The NetPath 2000 has the following interfaces:

Local Management Ethernet Interface

This is a direct Ethernet connection for local management and configuration.
The default IP address is 192.168.100.1, and this address is configurable.
DHCP can be configured ON or OFF for this interface.

Branch Router Ethernet Interface

This is a connection to the branch office router. The default IP address is
192.168.1.1, and this address is configurable. DHCP can be configured ON or
OFF for this interface.

PCMCIA Slot

This connection (slot) lets you use a PCMCIA wireless card.
