New Shared Secret

(PSK)

Sets the shared secret password for authentication. This password is case
sensitive.

Confirm

Confirms the previously set shared-secret password. This character string is
case sensitive and must match the previously set shared secret.

System

The system-level configuration lets you modify the system-level networking
capabilities, including remote management via SNMP and NAT between the
Ethernet and wireless ports.

SNMP Management

Enables SNMP.

Values: OFF, ON

Name

Sets SNMP name.

Location

Sets SNMP location.

Contact

Sets SNMP contact name.

Community

Sets SNMP community delimiter.

NAT

Enables NAT between the wireless network interface and the branch router
and local management interfaces.

Values: OFF, ON

Applying Configuration Changes

The following buttons appear at the bottom of the Configuration screen.

Apply

This button applies the configuration changes. You must apply the changes
before they will take effect. After selecting “Apply,” the changes are made
and the browser will revert to the Status Display screen.

Cancel

This button cancels any configuration changes. After selecting “Cancel,” all
changes are canceled and the browser will show the Status Display screen.

Restore Defaults

This button will restore all configurable entries to the factory default settings.
Select “Apply” to complete this action.

Code Update

To update the NetPath 2000’s operating software, select the “Code Update
button. The NetPath 2000 will display the screen shown in Figure 3.5.
