SCSI IDs for systems with only the Master EDR Board installed:
- 8-disk system = A:3:0-A:6:0 and B:3:0-B:6:0
- 7-disk system =A:3:0-A:6:0 and B:3:0-B:5:0
- 6-disk system = A:4:0-A:6:0 and B:3:0-B:5:0
NOTE: The disk size is limited to less than 18GBytes for performance reasons.
6. If any of the disk drive IDs do not appear, shut down the Profile system and
check:
- The installation of the cables inside the chassis and the cable connectors
for bent or broken pins.
- Proper seating of the drives in the SCSI backplane.
- The drive connectors for bent or broken pins.
Refer to Figure 4 to determine the physical location for each SCSI ID.
