Installing Disk Drives
To install the new disk drives:
1. Observe ESD cautions and shock warnings on page 6.
2. Observing correct connector orientation (see Figure 11), reinstall the disk
drives previously removed by sliding the drive caddie into the drive tray and
firmly pressing down to connect the drive connector to the SCSI Backplane.
3. Observing correct connector orientation, in turn, slide each new drive into an
unused caddie slot in the drive tray as shown in Figure 11 and firmly press
down to connect the drive connector to the SCSI Backplane. Refer to
Figure 11 to determine disk locations for six and seven disk systems.
