Starting Up EDIUS and Creating
New Project
Project file is the largest unit for editing EDIUS works.
A project file contains information such as the edit
process or the video format.
This section describes the operation when you start
up EDIUS for the first time and how to create a new
project.
POINT The enclosed USB key must be attached
to the PC's USB port in order to use
EDIUS.
Once you have executed the following
procedures, the operation to start up
EDIUS and to create a new project partly
differs from that of the first time. Refer
to EDIUS User Reference Guide for
details.

Starting Up EDIUS
Start up EDIUS and specify the saving destination of
project files.

Double-click the EDIUS icon on the desktop.
When you start up EDIUS for the first time after
installation, "Folder Settings" dialog box appears.
