OPERATION
Controls
Joystick
The joystick control lever will be used to control the utility vehi-
cle PRO-TACH attachment system. See the BRUTUS owner’s
manual for detailed information.
Move the joystick control lever forward to lower the attachment
arm (Item 1).
Move the joystick control lever backward to raise the attachment
arm (Item 2).
Float
Move the joystick control lever all the way forward until it locks
in the detent (float) position to have the utility vehicle PRO-
TACH in the float position.
Move the joystick back to disengage float.
Angle Broom Rotation
The angle broom can be rotated 25 ° to the left or right for direct-
ing the movement of the debris in front of the angle broom.
Press the switch to the left (Item 1) to rotate angle broom counter-
clockwise.
Press the switch to the right (Item 2) to rotate angle broom clock-
wise.
Tilt Lock Switch
Press the tilt lockout switch forward (Item 3) to engage the tilt
lock.
Press the tilt lockout switch backward (Item 4) to disengage the
tilt lock
NOTICE: AVOID PTO DRIVELINE DAMAGE. PTO powered
attachments are not compatible with the tilt cylinder full range
of motion. Engage the tilt cylinder lock once the attachment is
level to prevent PTO driveline damage.
