Shutdown/Disassembly

11.1 Switching off the device

DANGER

Lethal voltages are still present in the terminals and cables even after switching off and discon-

nection of the battery system.
Severe injuries or death may occur if the cables and terminals in the device are touched.

Complete de-energisation only occurs if the bulk power supply is switched off upstream of the bat-

tery system.

DANGER

Destruction of the DC plug connector
DC plug connectors can be destroyed by arcing if disconnected while still live.

It is absolutely essential that the following shutdown sequence is observed.

11.1.1 Step 1: Shutting down the PV system

1. Switch off any optional external PV isolator switches.
2. Set the internal DC isolator switch to "OFF".

The inverter and battery charging unit/ battery backup converter (BBC) are disconnected.

11.1.2 Step 2: Disconnect the batteries

NOTE

Please read the additional information in the enclosed manual "Features for the battery unit"

11.1.3 Step 3: Disconnect the AC supply

1. Connect external isolation means to the device
2. Switch off the circuit breaker.
3. Switch off the residual current circuit breaker.

The battery system is switched off.

11.1.4 Step 4: AC home power grid

1. Shutdown the AC home power grid using the AC main switch.

The battery system can be uninstalled.
