Handling and use
This section provides you with important information on handling and using the
appliance.
Using the seat cushion in the car
♦ Place the seat cushion on the car seat.
♦ Pull the upper seat cushion securing strap 2 over the head restraint of
the car seat.
♦ Secure the seat cushion carefully using the securing straps 2 (see Fig. 1).
TIPS
► It is not always necessary to use every strap 2 .
Work out the best way of securing the seat cushion to your seat. Use
the following illustrations for assistance.
► If the backrest is extremely high or wide, secure the seat cushion as
shown in fi gure 2.
► If the backrest is extremely low, secure the seat cushion as shown in
fi gure 3.

DANGER
► If your vehicle is equipped with side airbags, please ensure that the upper
securing strap
2 is only folded over the head restraint supports and not
over the top part of the car seat when securing the seat cushion (see
Fig. 2). Otherwise the side airbag may be aff ected!
♦ Connect the low voltage plug of the 12 V car adapter 11 into the connection
socket 10 of the seat cushion .
♦ Plug the 12 V car adapter 11 into the cigarette lighter.
