Operation
Positioning the paper 1.
To position your paper, first of all please
detach the T-square from the drawing
board. Lay the paper on the board and
slide it under the magnetic clamp bar on
the left side by pressing the control
key down using your left hand and
positioning your paper at right angles
using your right hand (illustration 1).
The paper edge guide will help you with
the alignment. Afterwards, open the
magnetic clamp bar at the lower board
edge and slide the paper underneath
(illustration 2). Use the paper edge guide
to re-check that the paper is straight and
positioned at right angles. Now re-fit the
T-square to the drawing board.
The double guide grooves facilitate
particularly smooth sliding of the bar.
Please ensure that the bar fits correctly
into the grooves.

The T-square can be moved upwards
and downwards easily using the guide
handle (illustration 3). The guide handle
is fitted with an automatic locking
mechanism, permanent free wheel
change (red, grooved) and a “Stop-and-
Go” free wheel change (white).
If the locking device and the free wheel
change are in neutral (not depressed),
the T-square is locked in place
(illustration 4). In order to operate the
“Stop-and-Go” free wheel change and
thus adjust the T-square, depress the

white switch. As soon as you let it go, the
T-square will lock into place
automatically. To adjust the permanent
free wheel change, slide the grooved
red switch to the right (illustration 5).
The T-square can now be moved evenly
without stopping. To lock the T-square
into place, move the switch back to its
original position.
