Making calls

External calls

Use the numeric buttons [24] to enter a telephone number. After you have entered the phone

number, pick up the receiver to call the entered number.

Press the

button [26] to clear the entered digit.

You can adjust the receiver volume during a call by pressing the

button [27] to

reduce the volume or the

button [28] to increase it. The current volume level is

shown on the display [17].

You can also pick up the receiver first and dial the number afterwards using the numeric buttons

[24]. Please note that in this case the entered phone number is dialled immediately.

Calling a number from the phonebook

If you want to use a number stored in the phone book, press the Phonebook button [19] while in

standby mode. Press the  or  multifunction control buttons [16] to select the desired entry and

then pick up the receiver to call the selected entry.

Put down the receiver to end the call.

You can also pick up the receiver first and then dial the number from the phonebook. To do this,

press the Phonebook button [19] and then use the  or  multifunction control buttons [16] to

select the desired entry. Next press the Menu/OK button [15] to confirm your selection. Press the
 or  multifunction control buttons [16] to select the “DIAL NUMBER” menu item and then press
the Menu/OK button [15] to call the selected entry.
