Muting the microphone

You can mute the microphone during a call so you can speak without the other party hearing you.

To do this, press the

button [26] during a call. The microphone will be muted and the icon

appears on the display [17].

Press the

button [26] again to switch the microphone back on.

Call forwarding

During an external call press and hold the Locator button [25] for approx. three seconds (a short

beep can be heard). “INT” will appear on the display [17]. Next enter the number of the handset

that you want to call. As soon as the connection to the handset has been established, you can talk

internally. Put down the receiver to end the external call and to forward it to the handset.

Intercom and conference calls

During an external call press and hold the Locator button [25] for approx. 3 seconds (a short beep

can be heard). “INT” will appear on the display [17]. Next enter the number of the handset that

you want to call. As soon as the connection to the handset has been established, you can talk

internally. Press the Locator button [25] to toggle between the external and the internal call.

Press and hold the locator button [25] for approx. 3 seconds to make a conference call.

New message in voice mail

If there are new messages in the voice mail, the icon

appears on the display [17]. After you

have listened to the voice mail message, the icon

disappears.

To be able to use the voice mail, your provider must support it.

Handset locator

This features lets you locate your handset if you have misplaced it. While the base is in standby

mode, press the Locator button [25]. The handset emits a tone for approx. 30 seconds and the Call

LED [13] flashes.

To disable the tone and the flashing Call LED [13] press any button on the handset.
