Using the PD-E1 USB Power Adapter (sold separately), you can charge the LP-E6NH/LP-E6N Battery Pack
without removing it from the camera. The camera can also be powered.
Note that the LP-E6 Battery Pack
cannot be charged thi s way. For details such as how to attach the power adapter to the camera, refer to the
Advanced User Guide (PHOTO Edition).
The USB power adapter is used when a battery pack is attached to the camera. When recording, using a fully
charged battery is recommended.
• If the power switch is set to VIDEO, you will be able to power the camera but charging will not be possible.
• Setting the power switch to OFF will switch from powering the camera to charging.
