This menu is accessed via Settings > General > Volume & audio

Speaker audio

- This option will allow you to set the preferred

audio format. You can choose between spatial audio or Stereo

uncompressed. We recommend selecting Dolby Atmos to utilize

the Atmos license embedded in the Maxwell for Xbox headset.

Headset audio

- This option can be configured for several

different 3d audio spatialization or PCM audio options. You’ll

need to enable “Dolby Atmos for Headphones” to take

advantage of the built-in Atmos license on your headphones

(settings for this can be configured through the Dolby Access

app)

Additional options

Mute speaker audio when headset attached

- Checking this

option will disable your TV or sound system speakers. Unchecking this

option will allow simultaneous audio through both your speakers and

headphones.

Chat mixer

- This option will allow you to select the default chat

audio mixing. You can choose among four options: Mute all

other sounds, reduce volume of other sounds by 80%, reduce
