Basic operations of shooting and playback
Using the built-in flash
In situations where a flash is needed, such as in dark
locations or when the subject is backlit, press the

(flash
pop-up) button to raise the built-in flash.

When not using the built-in flash, gently push to lower
the built-in flash until it clicks shut.
