Problem Solution
When I select a
particular digital
media file I get an
error message that
says this file
format is not
supported. • The digital media formats are supported by your HP iPAQ
either through iPAQ Mobile Media or through one of the
other digital media applications pre-installed on your HP
iPAQ. For specific information about the digital media
formats, refer to the “How Do I Play Copyrighted Music
and Video on My iPAQ?” section in the
How Do I
Guide...? that came with your HP iPAQ.
In Media Control
mode, I cannot
play.wma or.wmv
files in the
NevoMedia
Player on a
particular
computer. • Check to see that the computer you are trying to access is
turned on and that both the NevoMedia Server and
NevoMedia Player are running. To launch NevoMedia
Server and NevoMedia Player, tap Start > All
Programs > Hewlett-Packard > Mobile Media for
PC.
• Verify that you do not have incompatible settings in Internet
Explorer on your computer. Some corporate networks or
other special networks require proxy or configuration
scripts or access the Internet, these must be disabled for
iPAQ Mobile Media to work properly. On your computer,
launch Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, select
Internet Options, in the Connections tab, select LAN
settings. Verify that you do not have an automatic
configuration script running or are using a Proxy server to
access the internet. All boxes must be unchecked.
In Media Stream
mode, I cannot
stream MP3 music
files to my HP
iPAQ. • iPAQ Mobile Media does not support streaming MP3
music to your HP iPAQ. Only WMA music can be
streamed to your HP iPAQ in Media Stream mode. For
your MP3 music you can use Media Copy to copy MP3
formatted music to your HP iPAQ and then play them in
Local Media mode.
