Adding a Printer
To add a printer, tap the Add… button on the Configuration
screen.
How To Connect To The Printer
Before selecting the printer, HP Mobile Print needs to know how
it will be connecting to that printer. HP Mobile Print currently
supports Infrared (IR), Bluetooth, Network-based, and
Service-based connections. While the printer may have multiple
ways to connect, only one connection method can be set up at a
time. For example, the HP DeskJet 995c supports both IR and
Bluetooth connections, thus both IR and Bluetooth are valid
selections for connecting to this printer. The user can set up a
connection to print via Bluetooth right now and later set up an IR
connection to the same printer.
Selecting a connection method depends on what connections your
printer supports. To determine if a printer has IR or Bluetooth
capabilities, look for the IR port and Bluetooth radio located on
the outside of the printer. If neither of these are visible, then you
might try connecting to the printer via a network or through a
print service.
