maximum of four characters to indicate a message’s severity level. Table
5-2 on page 188 shows this abbreviated form in bold, underlined text.

Orange
the severity of the problem is relatively
high and normal use of the object is likely to
be impeded

Cyan
a potential or impending, service-affecting
fault has occurred. Action should be taken
to diagnose and correct the problem
Normal
Green
message output is expected: for example, a
process is starting or completing, or status
information is displayed

Blue
the severity level cannot be determined
