INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARE THE OPENING (cent’d)
Under the Range
range, like many other household
items, is heavy and can into soft
floor coverings as cushioned vinyl or
carpeting. When the range on this type
of flooring, use care, and follow these simple and
inexpensive instructions.
The range should be installed on a 1/4 inch thick
sheet plywood (or similar material) as follows:
When the covering ends the front of the
range, the area that the range will rest on should
be built with plywood to the same level or
higher than the floor covering. This allow
the range to moved for cleaning or servicing.
STEP 2
PREPARE FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Use only a 3-conductor, or if required a
conductor range cord set as noted below. These
cord sets
provided with ring type terminals.
The electrical rating cord must be 125/250
minimum, amperes.
Only a 4-conductor cord is to be used
when appliance is installed in mobile home
or where codes do not permit grounding
through the neutral.
STEP 3
Locate connector block at the bottom rear of
range and remove rear wiring cover.
