NITIAL SETTING
Manual Clock Setting
You must set the clock before you can perform a timer recording. First, set
the clock manually. Then, use Auto Clock to monitor the time. Details are
on pages 12-13.

Press [SET-UP] to display the main menu.

Use [Cursor K /L] to select “SETTING CLOCK”, then
press [ENTER].

While the “MONTH” space is flashing, Use [Cursor K /L]
until the correct month appears.
Then, press [Cursor B].

Likewise, set the “DAY”, “YEAR”, and “HOUR”.

Finally, set the “MINUTE” with [Cursor K /L], then press
[SET-UP].

• Although seconds are not displayed, they begin
counting from 0 when you press [SET-UP].
Use this action to synchronize the clock exactly.
Press [DISPLAY] to see the current time on the
screen. Details are on page 16.
Note:
• You may have to reset the clock after a power failure.
• To adjust the clock later, follow steps 1 to 3 on page 12.
Then use [Cursor s / B] to select the item you want to
change. Enter the correct information by pressing
[Cursor K /L]. Press [SET-UP] when you are finished.
Auto Clock Setting
The unit adjusts the clock using PBS (Public Broadcasting Station) channel.
Once you set the clock manually, the unit will monitor the correction.
Before you begin:
Make sure if the unit is connected to antenna or cable.
Set up the TV channels. Details are on page 14.
