Getting Started
Inside the Box
Verify that the following items are included in the box with the SVG1501:
Item Description
Power cord Connects the SVG1501 to an AC electrical outlet
10/100Base-T Ethernet
cable Connects the SVG1501 to the network via the
Ethernet port. Cable must be standard Cat 5 or
greater.
Software License &
Regulatory Card Contains software license, warranty, and safety
information for the SVG1501.
SVG1501 Installation
CD-ROM Contains the SVG1501 Wi-Fi Wizard, software
license agreement, multi-language SVG1501
User Guides, and USB drivers (for SVG1501U
models only).
SVG1501 Install Sheet Provides basic information for setting up the
SVG1501
You will need a 75-ohm coaxial cable with F-type connectors to connect the SVG1501 to
the nearest cable outlet. If a TV is connected to the cable outlet, you may need a 5- to
900 MHz RF splitter
and two additional coaxial cables to use the TV and the SVG1501.
