3 Double-click the Network and Dial-Up Connections icon to display the Network window:
4 Verify that TCP/IP is installed for the adapter used to connect to the VT2442. If TCP/IP is installed, skip to
step 9. If TCP/IP is not installed for the adapter, continue with step 5.
5 Select the adapter to use for the VT2442 connection and click Add. The Select Network Component Type
window is displayed:
