based inter face screens and the Command Line Inter face (CLI). This Administrator’s Handbook docu-
ments the advanced features, including advanced testing, security, monitoring, and configuration. This
Administrator’s Handbook should be used as a companion to the User Manual . You should read the
User Manual before reading this Administrator’s Handbook .
This guide is targeted primarily to residential ser vice subscribers.
Exper t Mode sections and the Command Line Inter face may also be of use to the suppor t staffs of
broadband ser vice providers and advanced residential ser vice subscribers. (See “Exper t Mode” on
page 59” and “Command Line Inter face” on page 127 .”)
Most users will find that the basic Quickstar t configuration is all that they ever need to use. This sec-
tion may be all that you ever need to configure and use your Motorola Netopia
