Setting the temperature

The recommended temperature is
highlighted. However, you can change
this to a different temperature within the
permitted range if you want.

^ Confirm the recommended

temperature with "OK".

If you do not want to use the
recommended temperature you can
enter another temperature with

+

/

-

or

the keypad and then confirm it with
"OK".

You can also change the recommended
temperature for a function permanently
in the Settings menu (see "Settings -
Recommended temperatures").

Increase the recommended
temperature for the Cook fish
function fto 100 °C or 212 °C when
cooking fish with liquid in a solid
container.

Setting a cooking duration

After you have confirmed the
(recommended) temperature, the
display will change to show the screen
for setting the cooking duration
(Duration). A duration of between 1
minute (0:01) and 6 hours (6:00) can be
set.

Durations of more than 59 minutes must
be entered in hours and minutes.
Example:
Duration of 80 minutes = 1:20.

You can either use the sensor next to

+

or the keypad to enter the duration.

^ Enter the duration, e.g. 10 minutes.

^ Confirm with "OK".

If you do not enter the duration within a
few seconds the entry field will go out.
Touch the sensor next to "Duration".

The charts later in this booklet and the
cookery book give suggested cooking
durations for various types of food.
Remember that the cooking duration is
not dependent on the amount of food,
but on the size of the food. For
example, large potatoes will take longer
to cook than smaller potatoes.

To achieve good results using the
durations quoted, please do not cook
quantities of food for more than 8-10
servings. Cooking durations will also
vary depending on the cooking
container used (see "Suitable
containers").
