How do you go about installing the
DVD-ROM on the PC if you get a
CRC error message when you start
the DVD-ROM?
The device does not recharge when
it is connected in the car: Check that the cigarette-lighter socket and the mini USB socket are
properly connected and that the cable diode light is on.
If an error message appears when you try to install the software on
your PC, we suggest you perform the following operations:
- empty the Windows temporary files folder: TEMP
- empty the temporary Internet files folder.
- empty the desktop recycle bin.
- check that you have sufficient disk space on your hard drive for
the installation (4 GB).
- create a temporary folder on your PC’s hard disk: for example:
VMX970TEMP
- copy the DVD-ROM into that folder.
- while installing, disable the anti-virus software on the PC.
- click on the “Setup” program to start the installation procedure.
- follow the instructions on the screen.
Once the software is successfully installed, delete the temporary
folder and its contents from your PC’s hard disk.
