If the modules are not programmed for automatic restart, for each module, press the “inverter on” pushbutton.

The green “load protected” LED will flash for about 3 seconds, indicating that the inverter is starting.

As soon as a sufficient number of UPS modules have been started, the SSC will automatically transfer the load
to the UPS module output. On each module, the green “load protected” LED will turn on and remain on. On
the SSC, the green “load protected” LED will turn on.

NOTE:

If the transfer conditions are not satisfied (bypass AC input
sources is out of tolerance) a forced transfer is required.
Refer to section 2.11 Forced Transfers.

As the remaining UPS modules are turned on (per step 4 above), their respective green “load protected” LEDs

flash for three seconds, then remain on as the modules connect to the load. The load is equally shared between

modules.

2.9.3

Checks After Start-up

After initial start-up of the system, normal operation should be tested. At the minimum, the following tests should be

performed as applicable to your installation:

Emergency power off (EPO) test.

Remote emergency power off (REPO) test (if applicable).

Inverter start and stop.

Battery transfer test.

Maintenance bypass procedure.
