INITIAL SETTINGS
You can set the language and channel selection method when
watching TV programmes and performing recording with this unit.
Setting The Audio Language
Set the audio language when watching TV programmes.

Press SET UP to access the Main Menu screen.

Press selection keys to select AINITIAL SET UPB, then press
ENTER.

Press selection keys to select ADTV SETTINGB, then press
ENTER.

Press selection keys
to select
AAUDIO
LANGUAGE B, then
press ENTER.

Press selection keys
to select your desired
language, then press
ENTER.

Press SET UP to
complete the setting.
NOTE:
If the language that has been set is not available in a broadcast,
the language that is available will be selected.
Setting Favourite Mode
You can select to tune to your frequently watched channels with
this setting.

Press SET UP to access the Main Menu screen.

UP B, then press
ENTER.

to select
ADTV
SETTING B, then press
ENTER.

Press selection keys to select AFAVOURITE MODEB, then
press ENTER.
NOTE:
If
AFavouritesB under AEDIT CHANNEL LISTB (A pg. 65) has not
been set, AFAVOURITE MODEB cannot be set to AONB. A warning
message APLEASE SET A FAVOURITE PR IN EDIT PR LIST
FIRST B will be displayed.

Press selection keys to select AONB or AOFFB, then press
ENTER.
ON :
Only channels set in AFavouritesB with ASETTING
FAVOURITE B(A pg. 65) are selected using PR +/–.
OFF :
All the channels stored on this unit are selected.

Press SET UP to complete the setting.
Setting The Subtitle Language
Some TV programmes contain subtitles. It is possible to set the
subtitle language when recording these programmes.

Setting DTV
● Turn on the unit.
● Turn on the TV and select an input mode such as EXT1.
● Slide the TV/DVD switch to DVD.
