Connecting a DBS (Direct Broadcast
Satellite) receiver and a VCR

Perform as described on page 9.

Connect the cable from the satellite antenna
to the DBS receiver.

Using AUDIO and S VIDEO cables, connect
AUDIO and S VIDEO OUT on the DBS
receiver to AUDIO and S VIDEO IN of
VIDEO 4 IN on the TV’s upper panel
(White-AUDIO Left, Red-AUDIO Right).

Using AUDIO and S VIDEO* cables,
connect AUDIO and S VIDEO OUT on the
VCR to AUDIO and S VIDEO IN of VIDEO
1 IN on the TV’s upper panel.

Using AUDIO and VIDEO cables, connect
AUDIO and VIDEO IN on the VCR to
AUDIO and VIDEO OUT of SELECT OUT
on the TV’s upper panel.

Using AUDIO and S VIDEO* cables,
connect AUDIO and S VIDEO OUT of
VIDEO 2 OUT on the TV’s lower panel to
AUDIO and S VIDEO IN of VIDEO 3 IN on
the TV’s upper panel.

To record a DTV program on the VCR, use
the SET UP menu to set SELECT OUT to
“VIDEO3.” Set it to “VIDEO4” to record a
DBS program.

Disconnect all power sources before making any connections.
