Connecting a DVD Player without
component video output
connectors

Using an AUDIO and S VIDEO* cables,
connect AUDIO and S VIDEO IN on the TV’s
upper panel to LINE OUT on the DVD
Player (White-AUDIO Left, Red-AUDIO
Right).

* If your DVD Player is not equipped with S

VIDEO, use a VIDEO cable (yellow) instead of
the S VIDEO cable.

Note:
• Since the high quality pictures on a DVD

disc contain a lot of information, picture
noise may appear. In this case, adjust NR
in the VIDEO menu. (see “NR” on page
48)

Connect the DVD Player directly to
the projection TV. Connecting the
DVD Player through other video
equipment will cause unwanted
picture noise.
