Download
Downloads are offered on the Inter-
net. Once downloaded, the content
is available to you on the phone.
There are 3 categories of downloads:
• Web browsing.
• Open Mobile Alliance (OMA):
Download of the media content
that has associated digital rights.
Normally you have to pay for the
content. The Browser interacts
with the DRM (page 18) while
downloading.
• Java applications are decrypted
and processed by the Java Appli-
cation Manager (JAM). When you
start the download, JAM is started
automatically (see below).
Java Application Manager (JAM)
Display the list of Java applications
currently available on the phone and
manage those applications.

• To start the browser, see page 87.
• If you quit the browser while download-
ing: Confirm request if you would like to
continue downloading in the background.
• When the download is completed, you
can either continue browsing or use the
downloaded content via the Options
menu (e.g. set picture as wallpaper, play
sound/video).
• Downloaded content is listed in the corre-
sponding folder in My stuff (page 108).
Select Open the selected link.
Launch Launch the selected appli-
cation, that has been fully
installed.
Open suite Select MIDlet application
from the MIDlet suite.
Move Move the MIDlet application
to another folder.
Attributes Display the MIDlet applica-
tion information, e.g.name/
version.
Security Edit the security settings of
the MIDlet application (see
page 92).
Download Download and install the ap-
plication, if JAR file has not
been downloaded.
Reinstall Download and reinstall the
MIDlet application (update).
