Accessing the Security Menu

All of your phone’s security settings are available through the
Security menu. You must enter your lock code to view the
Security menu.

To access the Security menu:

1.

Select

> Settings > Security.

2.

Enter your lock code. (The Security menu is displayed.)

Tip:

If you can’t recall your lock code, try using either the last four digits of your

phone number or 0000.

Using Your Phone’s Lock Features

Locking Your Phone

When your phone is locked, you can only receive incoming calls or
make calls to emergency numbers e.g. 111, Customer Service, or
special numbers.

To lock your phone:

1.

From the Security menu, select Lock Phone.

2.

Select Lock Now or On Power-up.

3.

Depending on your preference, select either Full Lock or
Excep. Incoming Calls.

Unlocking Your Phone

To unlock your phone:

1.

From standby mode, press Unlock (left softkey).

2.

Enter your lock code.

Locking the Pictures Menu

With this feature, you must enter your lock code when you access the
Pictures menu.

To lock the Pictures menu:

From the Security menu, select Picture Msg > Lock Pictures >
Lock Now. (Select Unlocked to deactivate this feature.)
