14. Disposal

14.1 Device

Do not dispose of the device in your normal domestic waste.

This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive 2002/96/EC.

Dispose of the device through an approved disposal centre or at your community

waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please

contact your waste disposal centre.

14.2 Batteries/Cells

Ú

Used batteries/cells may not be disposed of in household waste.

Ú

Batteries/cells can contain toxic substances which may damage the environ-

ment. Therefore, dispose of the batteries/rechargeable batteries in accordance

with statutory regulations.

Ú

Every consumer is statutorily obliged to surrender batteries/cells to a commu-

nity collection centre in their district or to a dealer. The purpose of this obliga-

tion is to ensure that batteries are disposed of in a non-polluting manner.

Ú

Only dispose of batteries/cells when they are fully discharged.

14.3 Packaging materials

Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally friendly

manner.

15. Warranty and Service

A 3-year warranty applies to this device, starting with the date of purchase. Should

you, in spite of our high quality standards, have grounds for complaint please con-

tact our Service Hotline. The telephone number of the service partner responsible for

your region is given on the warranty card at the end of these operating instructions. If
