Example: To program the TV
button

While pressing COMMANDER
OFF, press VOLUME – and the
desired Component Select
button.

When the Power-on command is
programmed, you will hear a beep
and “POWER ON” appears on the
display. (The display goes off when
you release the buttons.)

To clear the Power-on command

Repeat the procedure above.
You will hear a beep and the following
display appears.

Notes

• When a signal has been already learned for a

Component Select button (see paga 25), the
Power-on command can not be programmed.

• When you program another signal using the

learning function to a Component Select
button (page 25) for which a Power-on
command has been already programmed, the
learned signal overwrites the Power-on
command. If the learned signal is cleared
afterward, the Power-on command will also
be erased and the button will return to its
status before being programmed.

Command of the Selected
Component (for Sony
Components only)

When using Sony components, you can
program the Power-on signal for each
component on a Component Select
button. You can select the desired
component and power it on by just
pressing that Component Select button.
