Playback of VIDEO CD

Slow-motion playback

To play a VIDEO CD in slow motion, press the SLOW

key during playback.

÷ No sound is obtained during slow-motion playback.
÷ To resume normal playback press the CD 6 key of

the CD player.

Single-frame playback

To play a VIDEO CD frame by frame, press the STEP

key during playback.

÷ Each press of the STEP key advances the picture by

one frame.

÷ No sound is obtained during single-frame playback.
÷ To resume normal playback, press the CD 6 key of

the CD player.

Each press of the SLOW key changes the speed.

= 2 Slow 2 = 3 Slow 3

When the FREEZE key is pressed during playback of

a VIDEO CD, only the image is frozen while the audio

continues to be played. The freeze function is can-

celled and return to the normal playback image au-

tomatically when the corresponding menu (scene) is

changed.

÷ To force the image freeze to be cancelled, press the

FREEZE key or CD

6 key.

Freezing only the image

Forward and backward search

To quickly advance or reverse the playback picture of

a VIDEO CD, press the

key during playback.

÷ No sound is obtained during forward or backward

search.

÷ To resume normal playback, press the CD 6 key of

the CD player.

÷ The setting contents are displayed on the display

section and the TV screen.

Each press of the

Switching the audio output

When playing a disc and MP3 files with multiple au-

dio channels (such as Karaoke discs or bilingual discs),

you can select the desired audio.

÷ The setting contents are displayed on the display

section and the TV screen.

Each press changes the setting cyclically.

1 STEREO ........... Normal playback
2 MONO - L ......... Left channel only
3 MONO - R ........ Right channel only
