6.7 Natural or LP Gas Fuel

Systems

Natural and LP (liquified petroleum) gas fuel systems
should be designed and installed in accordance with the
requirements of NFPA 54, National Fuel Gas Code, and
all applicable local codes. Various types of gas fuel
systems are available as follows:

Combination Natural Gas and LP Gas (Figure 6-8

The engine-mounted components of all these systems
are similar and usually include a carburetor, secondary
gas regulator, electric gas fuel solenoid shutoff valve,
and flexible fuel connector.
