This MMC provides a means of setting parameters for the serial I/O ports to work with SMDR and
Remote MMC. Programming is accomplished easily with the tables below to customize either I/O port.

PROCEDURE

LCD DISPLAY

1. Press [TRANSFER] and dial 80

Display Shows

2. Press [VOLUME (-) or (+)] to select the serial port

(COM1, COM2) COM1 and COM2 may be found on
SMDR/R-MMC card. COM1 is SMDR and COM2 is
R-MMC. COM1 is used for SMDR or TRAFFIC port and
COM 2 is used for Remote Programming.

3. Press [REDIAL] or [FLASH] to select the parameters

4. Press [MUTE] or [MESSAGE] to select data

5. Press [TRANSFER] to save and exit

NOTE: “XON OFF” means whether the system checks the CTS pin of the serial
