5.5 SYSTEM TONES AND RINGS

DIAL TONE :

A steady tone that indicates dialing may begin

CONTINUOUS

RING-BACK TONE :

Indicates the station dialed is ringing.

400 ON / 200 OFF/

400 ON / 3000 OFF

BUSY TONE:

Indicates the station dialed is busy.

500 ON / 500 OFF/

500 ON / 500 OFF

TRANSFER TONE:

Indicates a call is being held and you can dial another party.

ERROR TONE:

Indicates you have done something incorrectly.
