Chapter 6 Using the Scanner Functions
Reading in by selecting binding position (Flip Side2)
When scanning duplex documents top/bottom binded or left/right binded, this setting lines up the tops
and bottoms correctly.
● [Flip Side2] cannot be selected when the [Dual Page], [Non Image Area Erase] or [Special Original-
Mixed Original] function is set.

Touch the [Flip Side2] key on [Select Application Function] screen.

Touch the [Left/Right bind] or [Top/Bottom bind] key according to the document binding
directory.

Touch the [OK] key.
→ The display returns to the [Select Application Function] screen.
Reading in with black and white reversed (Reverse Image)
This scans reversing the white sections of the document into black and the black sections of the docu-
ment into white.
● [Reverse Image] cannot be selected when [Non Image Area Erase] is set.

Touch the [Reverse Image] key on [Select Application Function] screen.
→ [Reverse Image] is selected.
z When you touch the [CANCEL] key on the LCD screen, the setting is not finalized and the display returns to the
[Scanner mode basic] screen.
